Judy Caudell Bertoson

Judy Caudell Bertoson passed away peacefully from an extended illness surrounded by her loving family on December 28, 2024, while in the care of Hospice of Northeast GA Medical Center as an inpatient.

Born in Gainesville, GA on January 22, 1956. Judy was the daughter of Hoyt and Viola Caudell.

Judy was preceded in death by both parents and two of her brothers, Nelson Caudell and Calvin Caudell.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Bertoson of 26 years; her bonus son, Aaron Bertoson (Annie); her bonus daughter, Sheila Fitzgerald (Danny); six grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Martin (Randall), Barbara Caudell Brown, and Kathy Martin (Tony); and a host of nephews and nieces.

Judy had the opportunity to share her faith in her Lord and Savior and how ready she was to see her Jesus. As she began to transition to depart this life she burst out singing, Go Tell It on the Mountain.

Visitation will be at Northside Church, Cleveland Hwy, Gainesville, GA, Sunday, January 5th, 2025, from 1:45 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m.
