Barbara Cash Mickler

Barbara Cash Mickler, age 85, of Buford, GA passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonord Mickler; parents, Roosvelt and Beulah Faye Hill Cash.

She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Fay (Joe) Sarchet of Buford, Tammy Ann (John) Blaylock of Buford, GA, Donna Michelle (John) McElhenney of Gainesville, GA, Martha Elaine Mickler of Buford, Sara Lee Mickler of Buford; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Keil of Louisiana; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Mickler was born on July 1, 1939 in Bremen, GA. She had worked at several places including Sewell Suit Factory in Bremen, Buford Manor Nursing Home in Buford, was a caregiver for Doc and Clarice Pass in Buford for many years, worked for Phyllis Free, owner of Home Cleaning Service, and provided childcare in her home in Buford in addition to being a homemaker. Mrs. Mickler was a member of Mt. Salem Baptist Church located in Flowery Branch, GA and a member of their Adult Sunday School Class.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Al Soliven officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Flowery Branch. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
