Vickie Chandler

Mrs. Vickie Chandler, 69, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2024 at her residence following a sudden illness.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 30, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Verlin Reece will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Sunday, December 29, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on December 17, 1955 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of Frank Alan White and the late Florine Elizabeth Evans White.   She was retired from the Hall County School System and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Chandler was preceded in death by her brother, Randy White.

Vickie (Granny), was a loving wife, mother and especially a loving grandmother. She was selfless and deeply devoted to her family.

Mrs. Chandler is survived by her husband of 47 years, Herman Chandler of Gainesville; son, Bradley Chandler of Gainesville; son and daughter in law, Drew and Heather Chandler of Gainesville; grandchildren, Eliza Chandler, Turner Chandler, Elsie Chandler; father, Frank White and a number of brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives.
