Marsha Elaine Castaneda

Marsha Elaine Castaneda, 64, of Cumming passed away Friday December 27, 2024 following a period of declining health.

Born July 28, 1960, Marsha had been a resident of Forsyth County for almost 30 years.  A devoted wife and mother she was the glue that held her family together.  Marsha had a great love for animals, flowers and especially her beloved cats.  She was preceded in death by her parents, George, Sr. and Mary Alice McClelland; sister, Dele Haynes; grandson, J.J. Wells.

Surviving are her husband, Aaron Castaneda of Cumming; children, Jeremiah Wells, Jessica Robertson, both of Cumming; siblings, Mary Panther of Blue Ridge, Maggie Buerger of Woodstock, George McClelland, Jr. of Cumming; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday January 4, 2025 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home.
