Wayne Hulsey

Wayne Hulsey, age 75 of Cleveland, passed away on December 25, 2024. 

Mr. Hulsey was born October 6, 1949, to the late Herbert Hulsey and Betty Dorsey Hulsey. Wayne worked for the White County Road Department for over 20 years, having never missed a day of work. He enjoyed riding horses and working on his cattle farm. Wayne was a great brother and loved his family above all. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Chris Hulsey and sisters, Patsy Allison and Sharon Archer.

Survivors include his children, Kimberly Hulsey, Levi (Chieree) Hulsey, Brandi (Scott) Whitaker, Stephanie (Shelton) Townley, and Melissa Bree; grandchildren, Charles Grier, Matthew, Anna, and Luke Whitaker, Mari Gosnell, Carson Hulsey, Jacob Oliver, Cayden Townley, Bryson Broadway, Joseph Oliver, Devon Yard; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Christian, Jeremiah, Daisy, Theo, Vivian, Charlie, Joseph, Haylay, Jayla, Jesse, Marcus, Taylor, Weston; great-great-grandchildren, Hensley, Lucas, Herschel, Raylyn, Bentley, Grantley, Layla; siblings, Tony Hulsey, Daryl Hulsey, Karen Walker, and Dianne Austin.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, December 30, 2024, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Kyle Savage and the Rev. W.A. Jenkins will officiate. 

The family will receive friends from 2-7 PM Sunday and again on Monday from 11:00 AM until the service hour.
