Bobby Richard Whitmire

A Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 26, 2024 in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Joe Vernon will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Born on November 28, 1933 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Theodore and Eunice Faulkner Whitmire. Mr. Whitmire proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was President of North Georgia Supply Company. He was a member of Dewberry Baptist Church #1.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Whitmire was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Whitmire Deitz.

Mr. Whitmire is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nina Whitmire of Clermont; sons, Greg Whitmire of Clermont, Chad Whitmire (Stephanie) of Clermont; grandchildren, Maximus Whitmire, Briella Whitmire, Jazzy Whitmire and a number of other loving relatives.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Rd., Gainesville, Ga. 30504 is in charge of the arrangements.
