Becky Sue Hanley, a cherished member of the Commerce, Georgia community, was born on July 7, 1960, in Commerce, GA. After a life filled with love and dedication, she passed away peacefully in her hometown on December 15, 2024.
Becky was known for her warm spirit, kind heart, and unwavering commitment to her family and friends. As a devoted mother, she took great pride in her children and grandchildren, nurturing them with love and wisdom. Her family included her beloved daughter, Charmin (Andrew) Norris, and her cherished grandchildren, Dylan Sypin, Abby Saxon, Noah Norris, and A.J. Norris. Her bond with her family was a testament to her strength and compassion.
She was also the beloved daughter of Rachel "Becky" Minish Williamson and the late Samuel R. Standridge, Sr. Surrounded by her siblings, she shared a close relationship with her brother, S. Richard (Julie) Standridge, Jr., and her sisters, Margie (Mitchel) Adam and Tammy Gordon, who will remember her fondly. Becky was a loving sister-in-law to the late Jason Gordon, and she fostered deep connections throughout her life.
Becky's memory will forever be held dear by those who loved her, including her family and friends. Though she has departed from this world, her spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her. Becky Sue Hanley will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend whose legacy of love and kindness will remain alive in our memories.
