Dennis Lamar Bruce

Dennis Lamar Bruce, age 74, of Buford, GA, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Brown Rolland; brother, James Howard Bruce, Jr; and sister, Carolyn Miller. Mr. Bruce is survived by his wife Marilyn Bruce; siblings, Larry and Martha Bruce, and Patsy Dial; his six children: Susan (John) Vrana, John (Cindy) Bruce, Lori Musselwhite, Shane (Melodie) Bruce, Justin (Amy) Bruce, and Denise (Robert) Burgess. Grandchildren include: Gracie, Zane, Sterling, Emma, Quinlan, Kyla, Peyton, Emma, Makayla, Matthew (Katlyn), Michael, Anthony, Jennifer (Roberto), William (Sydney), and David (Jacqueline), as well as four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and caregivers. 

As a shining accomplishment, Dennis survived the Vietnam War where he fought for his country. He received many medals of honor for his brave service. Dennis also established a prosperous business. He lived life to the fullest and leaves behind an enduring legacy. 

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until time for the service at 4:00 p.m.
