Maria Sharon White Smallwood

Maria Sharon White Smallwood, born on June 1, 1945, in Athens, Georgia, passed away on December 9, 2024, in Commerce, Georgia. She lived a life marked by resilience and dedication as a self-employed businesswoman, a role that exemplified her strong work ethic and commitment to her community.

Maria was the beloved daughter of Robert and Florence Dye White and cherished the loving memories shared with her late husband, Charlie Smallwood. She was also a devoted sister to her brothers, Robert White, Myron White, and Terry White, who preceded her in death.

Maria is survived by her son, Frank "Jay" Jackson Fair, Jr., and her daughter, Shara Luwan Fair. She also leaves behind a number of nieces and nephews.

To celebrate Maria's life, a graveside service will be held on December 16, 2024, at Grey Hill Cemetery in Commerce, Georgia, starting at 2:00 PM.
