Onnie Mae Davis Coggins

Onnie Mae Davis Coggins, age 99, of Talking Rock, GA, (Formerly of Buford, GA), passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024. She was preceded in death by her son, Dwight Davis; 2 special sons-in-law, as well as many memorable nieces, nephews, and friends. Mrs. Coggins is survived by her daughter, Wanda Davis Mathias of Talking Rock, GA; son, Dairell W. Davis of Canton, GA, and special relatives listed below:

Daughters-in-law, Chaba Davis, Nancy Davis, Sandra Cooper

Granddaughters, Linda Davis, Crystal Cantrell, and Cheril Lunt, who remained at her side during her transition.

Mrs. Davis also leaves a sad family of 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; as well as many outstanding nieces and nephews and their families

Mrs. Coggins was born August 30, 1925 in Dawsonville, GA. She was retired from The Lovable Company in Buford, Ga. She had also worked for Ga. Boot Company. Mrs. Coggins was a member of Buford Church of God. She loved all of her family and doted over her grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA, with Rev. Calvin Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
