Jonathan David Kidd, 34 years old, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center from stage 4 Colon Cancer into the arms of Jesus to live forever. David was saved when he was younger and is now at home with his Savior Jesus.
Born on December 1, 1990, he worked at Eskimo Cold Storage, J & J Foods and Lanier Islands. David was a hard working young man that was dedicated to his work. He loved his friends with all his heart. He loved to spend time with his family and friends and he loved to try different foods, if not crazy. David went to school at Jones Elementary and West Hall Jr. High School. He graduated from West Hall High School class of 2010.
His death has left us shattered and hurting but we know he is whole and well, resting in Jesus Arms.
David was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lucille and J.D. Barrett; paternal grandparents, Homer and Ernestine Kidd; aunt, Frances Reinhart; uncle, Roy Kidd; aunt, Dot Oswalt; aunt and uncle, Angela and Terry Thomason; uncle, Doug Barnes and cousin, Cordell Barnes.
Left to cherish his memories are his parents, Robert and Mary (Barrett) Kidd; brothers and sister in law, Matthew Scott and Jessica Kidd; brother, Michael Kidd; nephews, Hollis Austin Kidd, Brently Easton Kidd; nieces, Ambree Oaklyn Kidd, Taylor Faith (Kidd) Sledge; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving relatives that will miss him and forever love him.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Scott Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
