Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Jerry Gantt Fulcher, age 77 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Friday, November 29, 2024. Mr. Fulcher was born in Athens, Georgia a son of the late Henry Haney Fulcher and the late Flossy Olene Winfrey Richardson. Mr. Fulcher was a member of Galilee Christian Church, enjoyed fishing and hunting arrowheads and was the owner of J.G. Fulcher Welding Service for fifty-one years. Mr. Fulcher served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fulcher is preceded by his wife, Tara Fulcher, daughter, Rhonda Gianelloni, brother, Wayne Richardson and sister, Shirley Richardson Rhodes.
Survivors include a daughter, Angie King of Lawrenceville. Two sons, Greg Fulcher of Prairieville, Louisianna, and James Curry of Johns Creek. Sister, Gloria Carter of Forest Park. Brothers, Bob Fulcher of Canton and Randy Richardson of Canton. Grandchildren, William King of Lawrenceville, GA. Ashlie Wiggins, Aimee Daigle, Amber Daigle Bergeron, Andrew Gianelloni, and Amanda Gianelloni of Napoleonville, LA. Austin Fulcher and Carolina Fulcher of Prairieville, LA. Great grandchildren, Madison Becnel, Preston Becnel, Ethan Wiggins, Ellie Boudreaux, Madelyn Bergeron, Camille Bergeron, Drew Gianelloni all of Napoleonville, LA.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 6, 2024 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with burial to follow in Oconee Hills Cemetery, Athens, Georgia at 1:00 P.M. on Friday with Military Honors. The family will receive friends 9:30 – 11:00 A.M. Friday prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
