Julian “Lowell” Fulenwider, Jr., age 88, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Monday, November 25, 2024.
Private funeral services will be held at a later date.
Lowell Fulenwider was born in Birmingham, Alabama on March 19, 1936. He grew up in Gainesville, Georgia. He graduated from Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee; and the University of South Carolina.
He owned Chick Supplies, Inc., a Poultry Pharmaceutical Company. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gainesville and a past member of the Rotary Club and Chattahoochee Country Club.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mardy; son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Dawn Fulenwider; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jim Martin; and daughter, Jill Dodelin. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Jimbo and Becca Martin; Russ and Karen Martin; Hannah Fulenwider, Ryan, Charles and Davis Dodelin; five great-grandchildren, Cooper, Cameron, Brooklyn, Caleb and Benjamin Martin; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dr. Tim and Pam Fulenwider; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nancy and Perry Pearce; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Matt and Kay Miller and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
