Harold Franklin Mowens

Harold Franklin Mowens, age 77, of Atlanta, passed peacefully from this life on Monday, November 25, 2024 at Budd Terrace Nursing Home.

Mr. Mowens was born on Friday, May 2, 1947 to Mr. Howard Mowens and Mrs. Reba Mowens in Clarksville, GA.

He is survived by his twin brother, Harland Mowens; brother, Jerry Mowens; sister, Helen Martin, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Reba Mowens.

Harold served in the Air Force and the Navy and was a self-employed painter and handy man.  He loved to watch old movies, watch football and read and quote scripture.  Harold’s passions were making others laugh and helping neighbors and friends in need.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
