Jimmy Allen Seymour

Mr. Jimmy Allen Seymour, 83, of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

Services for the family to be scheduled at a later date.

Born on January 23, 1941 in Elberton, GA, he is the son of the late Jesse Luther and Ozzie (Driver) Seymour. A truck driver for 60+ years, he retired from Crane Transport. In addition to his parents, Mr. Seymour was preceded in death by his brother, Joel Seymour.

Mr. Seymour is survived by his wife of 63 years, Janice Herrin Seymour of Gainesville; daughter Robin Seymour Waibel (Bill) of Roswell; son, Allen Seymour (Adriane) of Hoschton; daughter, Julie Seymour Edwards of Gainesville; grandsons, Andrew Waibel, Drew Seymour, Matthew Waibel; granddaughter, Kate Seymour; brother, Jerry Seymour of Gray, GA; sister, Debra Seymour of Elberton, GA and several nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
