Mr. Fred Conley, Sr., age 85 of Riley Street, Toccoa passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.
A son of the late George Columbus Conley and Mary Isabelle Dryman Conley, he was born October 4, 1939 in Otto, North Carolina having lived most of his life in Toccoa. He retired from Coats and Clark Maintenance Department in 2004. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He loved his family, loved by his grandchildren and always lending a helping hand. He loved fishing, hunting, being outdoors and working on cars.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Carpenter Conley in 2022.
Survivors include four daughters, Ann Vinson, Mary Hubbell, Tammy Conley and Evelyn Moore all of Toccoa; two sons, Fred Conley, Jr. and Robert Conley both of Toccoa; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 22, 2024, 2 o’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Scott Collett officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, William Stone, Billy Squires, Kyle Eller and Jimmy Vinson.

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Fred Conley, Sr.
