Billy Jim Hall

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Billy Jim Hall, age 86, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Sunday November 17, 2024. Mr. Hall was born in Virginia the son of the late Thomas Hall and the late Beulah White Hall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, Eugene and his wife Louise, William, Sam, Harrison and Lloyd Hall and Paul Pridemore and a daughter, Sue Hall.

Mr. Hall worked as a bodyman with Peterbilt Trucking. Also he worked as a crane operator, loved to restore Model A cars, loved Nascar racing especially Dale Earnhart. Mr. Hall was a veteran of the Unites States Air Force and a member of Galilee Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife of forty-four years, Wanda F. Hall of Jefferson, GA. His children, Tanya Burgess (Randy) of Brookport, Ill, Tabetha Powers (Todd) of Tennysville, IN, Tommie Waye (Stephen) of Jefferson, GA, William Hall of Lawrenceville, GA, Mary Bradberry (Brian) of Hoschton, GA and Peggy Truesdell (Wayne) of Bradley, Ill. Brothers, Raymond Hall (Sheryl) of Bradley, Ill and David Pridemore (Sue) of Bradley, Ill. Sister, Sue Hall of Bradley, Ill. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday November 22, 2024 at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Nick Vipperman officiating. Interment will follow at Galilee Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon until time of service at 2 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home.
