Robert "Robbie" Ray Smalley

Robert “Robbie” Ray Smalley, age 63, of Flowery Branch, GA, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024. Mr. Smalley was preceded in death by his mother, Lessie McDaniel; father, Doug Smalley. He is survived by his children, Robin Morton of Cumming, GA, Angie Smalley of Winder, GA; former wife and friend, Sue Smalley of Cumming, GA; sister, Elizabeth Roberts (Edwin) of Braselton, GA; brother, Randy Thornburg of Flowery Branch, GA; five grandchildren, Cody Hall, Raven Morton, Kayla Eplin, Kira Clapp, and Christian Clapp; nephews, Kevin Roberts of Winder, GA, Chad Roberts of Braselton, GA, Brandon Roberts, of Braselton, GA, and Jason Thornburg of Winder, GA; uncle, George Birdwell of Flowery Branch.

Robbie was born December 21, 1960 in Buford, GA and received his education from Buford High School. He was an avid sports fan of the Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs, and the Falcons. He loved to fish and enjoyed his strawberry milkshakes. Robbie was a member of Heaven’s View Baptist Church in Flowery Branch. He was a wonderful loving and generous father, grandfather, brother, and friend who loved the Lord.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2024 at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 18, 2024 from11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA.
