Chad Thomason

Mr. Chad Thomason, age 45 of Athens passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024. Mr. Thomason was born in Gainesville to Danny and Vicky Thomas Thomason of Cleveland. Mr. Thomason was the Market President at Oconee State Bank. He was the previous President of the Athens Jaycees and the Georgia Jaycees. He was currently serving in an active mentor role for the Athens Jaycees and he was a member of the Magill Society.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Thomason is survived by his wife, Jill Tyner Thomason of Athens; sons, Cohen and Hudson Thomason both of Athens; daughter, Camden Thomason of Athens; and brothers, Mark Thomason of Dawsonville and Tyler Thomason of Woodstock.

Funeral service will be held Friday, November 15^th at 11 AM from Nicholson Baptist Church with Rev. Russ Brown officiating. There will be a private family interment following the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday night from 5-8 PM.
