Lillie Rose “Jackie” (Newberry) London

Mrs. Lillie Rose “Jackie” (Newberry) London of Gainesville, GA, gained her heavenly wings on November 11, 2024.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, November 15, 2024 at the funeral home with interment to follow at the Chattahoochee Baptist Church cemetery, 7905 Duncan Bridge Road, Cleveland, GA 30528.

Born on August 10, 1942 in Gainesville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Harvel and Rose Hicks Newberry. Mrs. London was a homemaker devoted to her family and dogs. She will always be remembered as the heartbeat of our family with her big smile and arms outstretched to wrap everyone in a hug. A member of the Holiness faith,  

 Mrs. London’s greatest joy in life was witnessing to others about the everlasting love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In addition to her parents, Mrs. London was preceded in death by her Husband, Ed London; Daughter, Judy Free; Grandson, Dylan Drew; Brothers, Harvel Donald Newberry and Darrell Newberry; Sisters, Sarah Newberry, Mildred Timms, Ruth Newberry, and Ruby Newberry.

Left to cherish beautiful memories are her son, David London (Linda); Daughters, Anita London Drew; Debbie London (Jeff); Ashley London Martin. Grandchildren, Misty Hicks (Daniel); Brandy Poole (George); Chad Pardue (Jessica); Angel Cothran; Nola Dacus (Davey); David London Jr. (Jessica); Baylee Free; Braden Martin; Jaclyn Minter; Lexie Martin; Brothers, Edward Newberry (Debbie); Carl Newberry; Wade Newberry (Angie); Sisters, Sue Morrison; Betty Broome; Loretta Smith (David); 15 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral account payable at the funeral home.
