Teresa K. Banks Johnson, age 72, of Buford, GA, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents Willys and Imogene Banks and her sisters, Debbie Simler and Marsha Wheeler. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband of 54 years, Billy Roy Johnson of Buford, GA; sons, Rev. Billy Roy (Wanda) Johnson, Jr. and Kevin Wade Johnson, both of Buford, GA; grandchildren, Phillip Roy Johnson, Molly Johnson; brother, Willys (Shirley) Banks of Buford, GA; sister, Rene Hilker of Auburn, GA; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Johnson was born on June 28, 1952 in Whitesbury, KY and was a 1970 graduate of Kiser High School, Dayton, OH. She was a retired supervisor from Rockwell Co. after 18 years of service. Mrs. Johnson attended Countryside Baptist Church, Buford, GA. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
