Thomas Lamar Collins

Thomas Lamar Collins age 81 of Gainesville passed away on November 6, 2024.  He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be greatly missed.  He was retired from Ford Motor Company.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Joyce Collins; son, Scott Collins and daughter, Teresa Collins; sister, Doris Peters and Brother, Curtis Collins.

He is survived by his son, Michael Collins of Gainesville; sisters and brothers in law, Joyce and David Mayo of Conyers, GA and Glenda and Kelly Hayes of North Carolina; Brothers and sisters in law, Ray and Candy Collins of Florida and Larry and Carolyn Collins of Gainesville, GA; 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

A funeral service for Mr. Collins will be on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Sylvester Ridings officiating.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
