Mr. Jon Christopher “Chris” Smith, age 39 of Gainesville, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Emory Midtown Hospital.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Smith was born August 26, 1985 to Calvin C. Smith, Jr. & Teresa Eberle Smith in Longview, Texas. He was of the catholic faith. 

He is survived by his wife, Jaycee Smith; daughter, Hayden Smith; parents, Calvin C. Jr. & Teresa Smith; brothers, Calvin (Nicole) Smith & Cody (Julie) Smith; nephew, Crews; niece, Kenzie; and his loving dawgs, Tucker & Sophie.
