Marlene McQuait Nobles

Obituary Date: Saturday, November 2, 2024
Marlene McQuait Nobles, 87, daughter of Richard Harvey McQuait and Madelyn Pearl Foster McQuait, born in Wells Township, New Grenada, PA, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024. Marlene was a devout Christian, who is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior. She was a master seamstress, by occupation, and served as secretary of First Baptist Church, Titusville, FL for 27 years. She was part of the music ministry and children’s ministry at Abundant Life Fellowship for 25 years. She played piano and served in the music ministry at Christ Centered Living Ministries. She was a caretaker for many friends at the end of their lives. Her family was her world, and she lovingly took care of everyone like they were her own. She put Jesus first in all she did.  Marlene was loved by everyone she knew, her faithfulness to God showed in everything she did. She truly was one of a kind and will be missed and remembered by all who knew her. Now we can rejoice knowing she is in the bosom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
 
Marlene is survived by her twin sister, Darlene Woy of Chambersburg, PA; daughter, Michelle Wilson (Scott) of Titusville, FL; granddaughter, Lisa Gobran (Hany) of Buford, GA; grandson, Stephen Evans of Sanford, FL; great granddaughter, Makenna Evans-Stiles (Aidan) of Lawton, OK; great granddaughters, Kamryn Evans, Abigail Evans, Halaina Gobran; great grandson, Jeremiah Gobran; many nieces and nephews. Honorable mention to Kelly Baker, Alyssia Dose, and Jenifer Jenkins.
 
Marlene was preceded in death by her father and mother, seven sisters, three brothers, Elston Howard Bard, and her grandson, Chirstopher Evans.
 
Funeral service will be held Friday, November 8, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Rodney Truax will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, November 8, 2024 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Flowers accepted or memorial contributions can be made to Favor Hospice in memory of Marlene.
