William E. (Buddy) Hall, II

Mr. William E. (Buddy) Hall, II, age 75 of Flowery Branch, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with interment following at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Matthew Vandergriff will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 6th, 2024 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

He was born February 15, 1949 in Forsyth, GA, to the late William R. Hall & Frances Scott Hall. Buddy grew up in Panama City, FL and attended Troy University in Troy, AL.

He was a 33-year resident of Ellijay, GA, and a member of First Baptist Church of Ellijay during that time serving as a Sunday school teacher, deacon, and in various leadership positions within the church. In his later years, Buddy relocated with his family to Flowery Branch, GA where he was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and served as a Life Group teacher.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Walter R. Hall of Panama City, FL.

He is survived by his wife, Lynda R. Hall of Flowery Branch, GA; brother, Richard Scott Hall of North Myrtle Beach, SC; sisters-in-law, Denise Hall of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Cheri L. Hall of Panama City, FL; son, William Emory (Trey) Hall III of Flowery Branch, GA; daughter in law, Theresa M. Hall of Flowery Branch, GA; nieces, Marissa Hall of Chicago, IL and Reese Hall of North Myrtle Beach, SC; and beloved grandchildren, William Scott Hall, Nathan Donald Hall, and Carrigan Joy Hall of Flowery Branch, GA.
