Maggie Barrett Hardy

Mrs. Maggie Barrett Hardy, age 92, of Commerce, GA died Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at her residence. Mrs. Hardy was born in Shiloh to the late Guy and Ida Brown Barrett. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hardy was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Baker; sisters, Dot Seymour and Guynelle Adams; and brother, Roger Barrett.

Mrs. Hardy is survived by her husband, Leroy Hardy of Commerce; sons, Donny Booth (Charlotte) of Danielsville and Mike Booth (Diane); sisters, Joyce Scoggins of Gainesville and Pat Purcell of Commerce; 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 1 PM, Saturday, November 2 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Zach Hawks officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from noon until 1 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to New Hope Baptist Church.
