Tina Marie Kappler, 45, of Buford, GA, passed away on October 22, 2024, at 11:25 p.m. Born on October 25, 1978, in Covington, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Paul and Wanda Kemen.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelsie Kappler, and fiancé, Luis Ramos; her son, Scotty Kappler; her sisters, Traci Duffner, Teresa Rider, Mila Jordan, Kristie Wilcox, and Lisa Kemen; seven nieces, ten nephews, seventeen great-nieces, and thirteen great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Norma and John Honeycutt; great-grandmother, Frona Hughett; in-laws, Carol and Bill Kappler; and brother, Tony Kemen.
Tina was the embodiment of resilience. She spoke her mind, laughed loudly, loved fiercely, and, even in the darkest days, kept her sense of humor and fire. Nothing meant more to her than family, especially her kids. Her toughness wasn’t just in her fight with cancer – it was in the way she lived her life: unfiltered, unapologetic, and fearless.
Tina leaves behind more than memories; she leaves us all with a legacy of strength, authenticity, and raw courage. She was a reminder that life is worth fighting for, even when it fights you back. We’ll remember her laughter, her sass, her unmatched grit, and the way she taught us all to face life head-on.
An open visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home, located at 4400 S. Lee Street, Buford, GA 30518.
