Kevin Lee Bishop

Mr. Kevin Lee Bishop, 35, of Gainesville passed away Friday, October 25, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A Celebration of Kevin’s Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour.

Kevin was born in Gainesville, GA on Friday, December 9, 1988 to Carolyn Dyer Hooper. He was very loved by all his family and friends. He was a giving and loving person with everyone he knew.

He had a heart of gold and loved his Lord. He loved to play guitar and write his own songs and lyrics.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Carolyn Dyer Hooper of Gainesville; aunt, Tammy Dyer Buchanan of Gainesville; grandmother, Juanita Dyer of Gainesville; uncles, Gary Dyer and Matt Dyer; cousin, McKenzie Buchanan and a host of loving extended family and friends.

Kevin was preceded in death by his stepfather, his “Dad” Timothy Mark Hooper.

In lieu of flowers, it is the family’s request that donations be made to Tammy Dyer Buchanan to help with funeral expenses.
