Anna Ruth Ivey

Mrs. Annie Ruth Ivey, age 79 of Gainesville, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Memorial Park South Chapel with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Clark Taylor will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ivey was born October 10, 1945 to the late Ross & Beatrice Mobley Allison in Gainesville, Georgia. She was a member of Rejoice Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Shane (Lisa) Simmons; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and sister, Marie Long. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles David Ivey; daughter, Robin Chandler; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.
