Lynda Estelle Brock Allison

Mrs. Lynda Estelle Brock Allison, age 88 of Flowery Branch, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at her residence surrounded by family.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Memorial Park South Chapel with interment following at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Billy McKinney, Pastor Greg Worley, & Dave Harkins will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. Monday, October 28, 2024 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mrs. Allison was born April 10, 1936 to the late Major Glenn, Sr. & Estelle Lorraine Boleman Brock in Gainesville, Georgia. She was retired from the Hall County School System as a lunchroom manager and bus driver. After retirement, she worked at Road Atlanta and loved every minute of it. She loved her garden and canning vegetables. She loved the Lord and was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Dana Jill Allison McClure of Chestnut Mountain & Sandy Pauline (David) Harkins of Chestnut Mountain; grandson, Dave (Carly) Harkins; great-grandchildren, Ila Grace Harkins & Jed David Harkins; lots of nieces & nephews; and special friend, Al Underwood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Dan Homer Allison; and 9 siblings, Glenn, Telford, Charles, Horace, Jack, Marelle, Mary, Nelda, & Charlotte.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests monetary or time donations be made to Meals on Wheels, 430 Prior Street, SE, Gainesville, GA 30501.
