Philip Traut, Sr.

Philip Traut, Sr, age 81, of Jefferson, GA passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Buice Traut; son, Philip Anthony Traut; and brother, Richard Thomas Traut. Mr. Traut is survived by son, Philip Joseph Traut of Jefferson; brother-in-law, Dale (Toni) Clark of Greenville, SC; and aunt, Lori Ann Gower of Nicholson, GA.

Mr. Traut was born on July 5, 1943 in Utica, NY, He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and was a retired auto mechanic. He was a life long resident of Suwanee, GA before moving to Jefferson.

Mr. Traut was a member of Heavenly Harvest Baptist Church in Buford, GA. He, his wife, and his sons were a dedicated Christian family and were always going to church somewhere!

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. at GA National Cemetery in Canton, GA with Rev. Ronnie Coley and Rev. Jeff Brogdon officiating.
