Sheila Underwood Quick

Sheila Underwood Quick, age 71, of Morganton, GA, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her husband, David West, son, David Lee Wade, and grandparents, Charley and Effie Parker.  Ms. Quick is survived by her daughter, Lynn (James) Wilson, of Morganton; grandchildren, Logan, Braylee and Karli; great-grandchildren, Blakelynn, Kence and Landon; mother, Louise Martin; sister, Shan Martin; brother, Greg Underwood; and several nieces and nephews.

Sheila was born in Presque Isle, Maine, August 15, 1953, but lived most of her life in Buford and Blue Ridge, GA.  She received her education at Buford High School and retired from Fannin County School System, where she worked for several years.  Sheila was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Buford. 

She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all.  A graveside service will be held at a later date in Blue Ridge, where she will be buried with her beloved son, Lee.
