Mrs. Jean Bennett Wilbanks, age 74 of Currahee Circle, Toccoa passed away Friday, October 18, 2024 at The Overlook Toccoa.
A daughter of the late Clyde Bennett and Agnes Adams Bennett, she was born September 21, 1950 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all her life. She owned and operated Jean’s Beauty Shop for 40 years. She was a member of Carnes Creek Baptist Church. She loved her family, was a friend to many people, and loved to camp. Her hobbies included gardening and canning.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Wilbanks, sister, Barbara Williams and by two brothers, David Bennett and Max Bennett.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Stephanie Wilbanks of Toccoa; daughter, Tammy Wilbanks of Toccoa; grandchildren, Dylan and Madison Wilbanks and Dustin and Savanna Wilbanks both of Toccoa.
Graveside service Saturday, October 26, 2024, 2 p.m. at Carnes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with The Reverend Roger Whiten officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Dylan Wilbanks, Dustin Wilbanks, Travis Williams, Tony Williams, Bryon Bennett and Corey Bennett.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Carnes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Jean Bennett Wilbank
