Roy Woodring

Roy Woodring, age 76, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024 at Piedmont Hospital.

Mr. Woodring was born Dec. 1, 1947 to the late L.B. Woodring and Martha Woodring. He enjoyed anything to do with cars whether working on, driving, or admiring them. He also loveddoing woodworking. Most of all his favorite thing to do was to make people laugh; he alwayshad a story to tell.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Randall, Raymond, & Ray Woodring, brother-in-law, Leroy Scarborough, sister-in-law, Wanda Corbin, and his son, Kevin Woodring.

Roy was survived by his wife, Betty Woodring, sister Ruth Scarborough, brother and sister-in-law, Ralph Woodring & Joyce Corbin, sister-in-law, Judy Lewis, son and
daughter-in-law, Shane & Sharon Woodring, grandchildren, Levi, Will, Aaron, Hunter, Caleb, & Brianna.
