Donald Goldie Jones

Mr. Donald Goldie Jones, age 71, of Homer, GA died Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at his residence.  Mr. Jones was born in Atlanta to the late Charles Goldie Jones and Barbara Ann McKinley Chapman.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired as construction superintendent with Chambers and Associates.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Margurit Jones; granddaughter, Kinlee Lewis; and sister, Jenny Jones.

Mr. Jones is survived by his daughter, Jenna Lewis (Josh) of Homer; son, Joshua Jones of Chatsworth; brother, Chuck Jones of St. Simons; sister, Judy Jones of Dawsonville; and grandchildren, Graham Lewis, Beckham Lewis and Ella Jones.

Services will be held on Monday, Oct. 28th at 6 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Don Blalock and Rev. Jeff Pearce officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 4 - 6 PM.
