Sherry Lynn McDuffie

Mrs. Sherry Lynn McDuffie, 66, of Flowery Branch, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at New Horizon’s Lanier Park following an extended illness.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 1430 Dicks Creek Rd. Cleveland, GA 30528 (In Lumpkin County). Rev. Ronnie Dockery will officiate.

Born on September 20, 1958 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of George H. and Idell T. Turner. She was employed the Department of Family and Children Services in Hall County for 20 years, where she was a case worker. Mrs. McDuffie was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

Mrs. McDuffie is survived by her husband, Robert Lee McDuffie of Flowery Branch, special friend, Kathy Payne of Flowery Branch and her fur baby, Lucy.

The family would like to give a special Thank You to the staff of Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center and the staff of New Horizon’s Lanier Park for the excellent love and care they gave to Sherry.
