Ms. Mickie Morrison Sims

Mickie Morrison Sims, age 62, of Braselton, GA passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. She was preceded in death by parents, Sydney and Kathryn Hunt Morrison. Ms. Sims is survived by son, Jeffrey (Liz) McVicker of Atlanta; daughters, Lindsey Sims of Charlotte, NC and Destiney McVicker of Cleveland, OH; sister, Gail Thornberry of Braselton; brothers, Danny (Donna) Morrison of Hampton, GA, Gary Morrison of Rex, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ms. Sims was born on June 20, 1961 in Atlanta, GA. She graduated in 1979 from Sylvan Hills High School and was retired from Dollar General Stores. She loved NACSAR and Jimmy Johnson Racing.

Interment Service will be held at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 2:30 p.m.
