William Andrew "Drew" Clifton

William Andrew (Drew) Clifton passed away on October 12th, 2024 in Gainesville, GA at the age of 43.

As a father, son, brother, and friend to many, Drew is survived by his loving children, daughter, Bailey and son, Evan, his parents, Bill and Kathy Clifton, his brother Adam Clifton (Megan) and his namesake, nephew Andrew.

Drew was born December 6th, 1980 in Gainesville, GA. He was a graduate of West Hall High School, class of ‘99. He was best known for his adventurous spirit, sense of humor, fun loving nature, and kind heart. To know Drew was to love Drew. His bright smile, twinkle in his eye, and generous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. Above all else, he was a dedicated father to his two children whom he adored. Drew was an avid outdoorsman and found his sanctuary in and around water, fishing, and watersports, or on trails and hills with his rock crawler. He was a talented fabricator and mechanic. He was truly a jack of all trades and would help anyone at any time with anything.

A celebration of Drew’s life will be held at Skylake clubhouse in Sautee Georgia on Sunday, November 17 from 1pm to 5pm.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in his name to the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia.
