Paul Francis Duffy

Paul Francis Duffy, age 85, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on _Sunday, October 13, 2024. He is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Edna Powell Duffy of Lawrenceville; children, Michelle (Steven) McKeague of Auburn, GA, Paul (Terri) Duffy, Jr. of Pensacola, FL; grandchild, Ashley McKeague; great grandchild, Carson Nied. Mr. Duffy was born on March 5, 1939 in West Harwich, MA. He was a 1957 graduate of Wathan Massachusetts High School and a 1973 graduate from St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor Degree. He was a retired Chief Warrant Officer in the U. S. Army with twenty years of service. He also retired as Head of Security for Florida Power and Light, in addition, he was also Head of Tropical Shipping Co. Mr. Duffy was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and was an avid golfer. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Interment with Full Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.at the GA National Cemetery, Canton, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital ( www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html ) in memory of Paul Francis Duffy.
