Brian Eric Mays was born On January 18th 1958. Eric as he was affectionately known was born to the union of Rev. Milton Mays and Elizabeth Green-Mays. Eric accepted Christ at an early age. After graduating from East Hall High School Eric joined the workforce and worked at New Holland Mill. Later he moved to San Jose, California. He was multi talented . He played Guitar, drums and was a member of a band who played concerts and small gigs and even performed while in California. If Eric was not working or playing with the band he could be found quietly painting or drawing a masterpiece. He had a sharp eye for detail. Eric’s quiet demeanor caused him to appear shy and soft spoken but he let his artistry speak loudly and boldly for him. His handsome smile, colorful eyes and freckles are more attributes that made him unique. Eric is preceded in death by his Father Rev. Milton Mays, Mother Elizabeth Green and Oldest Brother Charles Stanley Mays. He leaves to cherish special memories and artwork his Stepmother Dallas Mays , Gainesville, Ga, Brother Donald Mays of Dahlonega ,GA sister Vickie Mays-Ducille of Dallas Ga , Sister in law Debra Mays of Richmond, IN, Nephews Mario(Chesterlyn )Mays of Kennesaw, GA, Skylar (Jennifer)Ducille Suwannee, GA, Nieces Alicia “Na’te Ducille of Atlanta, Ga , Carmen Recehe’ Mays Gainesville Ga, Jasmine Renee’ Mays of Duluth, Ga. And a host of great nieces and great nephews, cousin and friends. Eric will truly be missed.
