Nellie "Marie" Hart

Ms. Nellie "Marie" Hart, age 68 of Monroe passed into glory on Thursday, October 3, 2024.

Ms. Hart was born March 23, 1956 to the late Earl Middlebrooks & Nellie Thomas Middlebrooks in Perry, Alabama.

She is survived by her adoring adult children, son Tommy Hart, Jr (Tabby) Monroe, daughters Tammy Haney, Lawrenceville, & Tara Strickland (Jarrett) Monroe; Nine treasured grandchildren, Emily Haney, Abbey Haney, Trevor Hart, Macy Haney, Gavin Hart, Lachlan Hart, Bridgette Strickland, Pepper Hart, & Trey Strickland; One darling great grandson, Dawson Haney; Mother, Nellie Middlebrooks; sisters Ruth Sikes & Nora Allison (Kenny); brothers Jeff Middlebrooks (Amy), Jackie Middlebrooks, & Jerry Middlebrooks; & many nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by father Earl Middlebrooks; grandma Mary Thomas; husband Tommy Hart, Sr.; son Timothy Hart; son in love James Haney; brothers Reuben Middlebrooks, James Earl Middlebrooks, & Joe Middlebrooks.

She was a dedicated daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, & friend. Always the first to celebrate any accomplishments one may have had. She wasn't a big hugger, but a kiss on top of the head was expected. She was known for making the best biscuits, & even the preacher was known for shoving some in his pockets for later. Marie was one of the hardest working & strong willed people you would ever know. She worked full time while raising her family & somehow managed to put a home cooked meal on the table. Sher never seemed to get tired, she enjoyed making flower arrangements, & she had a gift for caring for others. She was a giver & never expected any recognition.

She is loved immensely & will be missed deeply.

Celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday October 19, 2024 at the Garden of Braselton Funeral Home, with Pastor Stacy Myers officiating.
