Larry Chatman was born in Hall County, GA. On June 9th, 1957, to the late Phillip Henry and RubyMae (Merritt) Chatman. Larry was preceded in death by his beloved Brother, Phillip Chatman, Jr, Sisters Betsy Lou Williams and Sarah Minette. Larry was a member of the Baptist Faith. After 27 plus years, Larry retired from Costco Wholesale Corp. (NJ). Larry loved his family, friends, and playing the drums. On Saturday, October 5th, 2024, Larry answered GOD’s call to His Eternal Heavenly Home. He leaves all to cherish His most fond memories, and all who were fortunate to ask in his infinite love… One Son, Mr. Lorenzo (Lenny) Chatman, his adored, grandchildren “The Chatman Boys” Mr. Lenny and Mr. Zyon Chatman. His Sisters, Teresa (Willie) Mayfield, Phyllis Thornton, Martha (James) Maddox (Lula, GA), Mary (Raymond) Lindsey, Dorothy (Willie) Mize, Bessie Bush. And a host of Nieces, Nephews, Relatives, Friends, whom all he loved.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Wimberly Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024 between the hours of 12:00 PM-8:00 PM at Wimberly Funeral Home. Family will receive friends between the hours of 7:00 PM-8:00 PM.
