Jacquelyn Brown Buchanan

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Jacquelyn Brown Buchanan, age 83 of Nicholson, Georgia who entered rest Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Mrs. Buchanan was born in Tampa, Florida a daughter of the late Robert S. and Veetrye Godfrey Brown. Mrs. Buchanan was of the Methodist Faith and was a retired Underwriter with Kemper Insurance.

Survivors include her husband, James Lowell Buchanan of Nicholson. Daughter, Laura “Chelle” Buchanan (Chad) of Cumming, son, Garrett Buchanan of Alpharetta and a sister Ann Brown Groover of Alpharetta. Three grandchildren, Alex, Peyton and Blake, also survive in addition to two bonus granddaughters, Alexandra and Mia and a great grandson, Vincent.

A Celebration of Life is to be determined and announced later.
