Bronda Rebecca Kemp

Mrs. Bronda Rebecca Kemp. 71, of Gillsville, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024 at her residence.

The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family will have a private service beginning at 7:30 on Tuesday with Rev. Jason Buffington officiating.

Born on September 25, 1953 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of the late Sandy Hicks, Jr. and the late Peggy Louise Wallace Hicks. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kemp was preceded in death by her husbands, James E. Burnett and Randall Kemp; daughter, Leslie Denise Grindle; son in law, Christopher George Grindle; brother, Rodger “Buggy” Sandy Hicks.

Mrs. Kemp is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Bradley and Michelle Burnett of Gillsville, Chris and Daphne Burnett of Dacula; brother and sister in law, Larry E. and Deborah Hicks of Gillsville; grandchildren, Christopher Grindle, Brandon and Rachel Burnett, Lauren and Stephen Rutledge, Shane and Catherine Burnett, Ashleigh and Trevor Cleaveland, Jackson Grindle, Avery Grindle; 13 great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Rd., Gainesville, Ga. 30504 is in charge of the arrangements.
