Judy graduated high school at Shanks High in Quincy, FL class of1972. She went to work at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL for 35 years where she retired. Shortly after retirement she moved to North Georgia to be with her daughters and grandchildren. She was a loving Christian lady who felt the presence of the Lord in her life. She had an energetic and fun nature, loved to cook, enjoyed fish fries, grilling out burgers, and of course her favorite dessert cream cheese pound cake with chocolate almond ice cream. While working at Florida State she became a football fan who loved to cheer on the Seminoles and then later on the Georgia Dawgs as well when she moved to Georgia. She enjoyed being outside in the sun by the water whether it was going to the beach, going skiing on the lake, or laying by the pool. The day she became a Grandmother her grandchildren were her pride and joy. We know she is in heaven now with her family and friends that have passed. We loved her tremendously and will miss her greatly.
A memorial service to honor Judy will be held at Thomas Memorial Baptist Church in Quincy, FL on Saturday October 5th, 2024 at 10am-12pm. Visitation will be at 10am and the memorial service will start at 11am.
