Sammy Junior Hudgins

Mr. Sammy Junior Hudgins, 73, of Lula passed away Friday, September 27, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Isaac Carlyle and Rev. Kody Rylee will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on December 17, 1950 in Grayson, GA, he was the son of the late L.T and Ruth Brady Hudgins. He was retired from Hall County where he managed the Tadmore Compactor site. Mr. Hudgins was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hudgins was preceded in death by his son, Tim Hudgins; sisters, Margaret Nalley, Joy Flemmen, Jane Kendrick and brothers, Ben Hudgins, Jim Hudgins, and  Bud Hudgins.

Mr. Hudgins is survived by his wife, Lynn Hudgins of Lula; sons and daughters in law, Mike and Violet Hudgins of Lula, Josh and Whitney Hudgins of Gainesville, Bart and Niki Hudgins of Lula; grandchildren, Kasey Hudgins, Jessy Hudgins, Billy Hudgins, Hallie Hudgins, Madalynn Hudgins, Halston Hudgins, Sawyer Hudgins, Hunter Hudgins; five great grandchildren; brothers and sisters in law, Steve and Liz Poole of Clermont, Benjie and Shelia Poole of Oakwood, Jason and Barbie Poole of Chestnut Mountain and a number of  nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

Flowers will be accepted however those who wish may make donations to Shoal Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, 142 Shoal Creek Rd. Cleveland, GA. 30528
