Merlene Scarborough Sims

Mrs. Merlene Scarborough Sims, age 84, of Commerce, GA died Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Highlands Senior Living, Jefferson. Mrs. Sims was born in Eastman, GA to the late Clarence and Alma Brown Scarborough. She was a member of Maysville Baptist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sims was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin E. Sims.

Mrs. Sims is survived by her daughters, Karol Davis and DeLisa Fischer both of Commerce; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held Thursday, September 26 with Rev. Michael Fischer officiating.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
