Angela Shirley Matthews

Angela Shirley Matthews, age 59, of Winder, GA passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Shirley. Mrs. Matthews is survived by her children, Joseph (Jessie) Tillman of Key West, FL, Jennifer (Tommy) Barton of Marietta, GA; three grandchildren, Kada Tillman, Kane Tillman, Taylor Barton; mother, Ruth Hudgins Adams of Snellville, GA; brothers, Dean (Cindy) Shirley of Winder, Dave (Regina) Shirley of Adrian, GA, Doug (Sue) Wood of Florida; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Matthews was born on August 19, 1965 in Duluth, GA. She attended Redan High School and graduated from Intercontinental College with an Associate Degree. She was employed by Sodeto Company, Buffalo, NY, and she was a Christian. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2024 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Coates officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens located in Buford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
