Brenda Edson Countryman

Brenda Edson Countryman, 83, of Hoschton, GA, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024. 

Brenda was born in Nebraska and spent many years in her beloved Albuquerque, NM before spending her last 30 years closer to family in Georgia. She retired from real estate with John Wieland Homes. 

She was preceded in death by her brother, Dick Edson. She is survived by her children, Jami Wright of Surrency, GA, Kevin Smidt (Beverly) of Buford, GA, Lori Gaffey of Dacula, GA; grandchildren, Tiffany Martin (Kenny), Sean Gaffey (Cristina), Maxine Wright, Jaclyn Dempsey (Gery); great grandchildren, Madison Martin, Kinsey Martin, Parker Gaffey, Miles Gaffey; brothers and sisters, Roger Edson (Vi) of TX, Ramani Goodman of HI, Janet Wise of CO, Ron Edson (Beverly) of NE.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 6, 2024 at 2 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Danny Newbern will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 6, 2024 from 1 PM – 2 PM at the funeral home.
