Johnny Boggs Jr

Johnny Boggs Jr, age 86, of Clermont, passed away on September 17, 2024. 

Mr. Boggs was born on March 16, 1938, to the late Johnny and Zorrie Boggs. Johnny was a self-employed Poultry farmer. He is preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Boggs; brothers, Wade and Lake; and sisters, Willie Mae, Jessie and Bet. 

Survivors include his daughters, Doris Phillips (Wayne) of Toccoa, Charlotte Shortnacy (Bobby) of Clermont, and Joan Sullens of Clermont; grandchildren, Juliann Pulliam, Amanda McCurry and April Dyer; great-grandchildren, Levi Datho, Troy Dyer, Hope, Austin, Hannah, Kristen, Jeremiah, Brianna, Isabelle, and Brandon. Great great grandchildren Joshua and Samuel Smith.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Friday, September 20th, 2024 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Grant will officiate. Interment will follow up at Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 Friday at the Funeral Home, prior to the service.
